We skipped date night Friday. Crazy we are, right? I know a couple times the last week we said how excited we were to get out solo with no kids.
But then Friday arrived and we were SO exhausted, wanted to just be with our littles. Yup, WE SKIPPED DATE NIGHT!
I picked up Rocco from therapy at 3, then met Mike at Barnes and Noble with the kids! He got to get out of work a little early, so he met us there! Rocco loves Barnes and Noble, and we wanted him to get a new book! I know Elisabetta will love it one day too!
We had fun reading books, picking out one for him and E, and just being with them! Parenting is exhausting, yet we just love being with them and slipped out on a couple hours of freedom!
We had to have a yummy dinner in, to celebrate my loves birthday! We picked up take out on the way home from Juniper Grill for dinner! Epic per usual!
We got the kids to bed early, and we relaxed and watched GLOW on netflix. We heard other people say it was good, so we started it last weekend, and we love it! We watched three episodes, before I had to pick Anthony up from work at 10.
It was a wonderful night in, a wonderful night all around! We are going to do a date night out soon!
Saturday we really did nothing, besides taking Anthony to set up a new bank account! His girlfriend came over and we all hung out, and they also went out and did some shopping and out to lunch. It was raining most of the day, so the weather was not so great.
We did leftovers for dinner, and I actually did some work for my current virtual wellness group ( posts for the week ) and I read some more of my current book I love! Also, had to have some sangria!
Sunday was an early day! Anthony had to be at work early, so we dropped him off and went to DD for Donut Sunday! Rocco’s favorite day! Its so cute, as there is another family we see there EVERY Sunday, too! They celebrate Donut Sunday as well, and have 4 littles! I love that their kids love it so much, as Rocco does! One day Elisabetta will join in!
We went grocery shopping after, which was SO nice when not busy there! We love going Sunday early before the crowd! Elisabetta thought it was boring 😉
Sunday was EXHAUSTING! I was up at 3:30 with her, but we both went back to sleep for a little. Not nearly enough, and her getting up around 3 am caught up to me yesterday. I somehow managed to still rock my workouts ( thanks Energize! ) and I rocked 7 days this past week!
Feeling good, besides being tired! Sunday is usually just get ready for the week ahead day for us, also LAZY DAY! I did go meet my girlfriend at my moms boarding kennel, as she adopted one of the kittens she was fostering. The kitten is so cute and my friend was so happy, so that made me happy!
Well, time for a new week! Rocco has outpatient therapy ( the one where he goes for socialization ) and Elisabetta and I are going to run errands!
Have a wonderful day, all!
