Happy Monday! For once, we have a slow and not busy Monday here! Rocco doesn’t have therapy today, and we have zero plans. I actually have plans to book a carpet cleaner, finish laundry, start a blog sponsored post, and figure out the meals for the week. I have grocery shopping to do later, just Rocco and I going to go when Mike gets home!
Our weekend was one of my favorite weekends we had in a LONG time! Well, that is how it can be when you have been living under stress, and having your kids in a bubble for three months.
We had a blast celebrating Cinco De Mayo at home Friday, watched a funny movie Saturday, and Sunday we all went out to Super Target for the first time together! Felt so good for all of us to get out together again. Bubble life is gone, we are FREE! We are just really starting to feel good again over here and it’s so wonderful! Simple things we took for granted, now we appreciate more. I think GOD does do things for a reason, to teach you something and to make you appreciate things and people so much more.
Sharing some pics from the weekend for MIMM!
Friday Night Cinco De Mayo Fun! We were so happy we got to eat in peace, too! The baby was taking her early evening nap and Rocco was playing so nice on his own!
We got a mexican feast from our favorite place, Juniper Grill. Also, some skinnygirl white peach margarita to drink!
Was a great date night in, we needed that!
Saturday it was so cold and rainy out! We planned on going outside and walking, but the weather wrecked our plans. We just relaxed, spring cleaned ( I got a huge bag of clothes together to give to my friends daughter ) and we just hung with our littles!
Daddy read a book to Elisabetta that morning <3
Rocco had fun playing with his new robot friend, my parents got him! They scored it for 7 bucks at a garage sale, he loves it!
Oh, Rocco got his haircut on Friday too! Looks so handsome!
Sunday was TARGET day with the LITTLES! Man, not so easy to get out with two little ones, but we did it!
That is the face of one happy mama! Happy to have her kids out of the bubble life, to not have the stress/fear/worry that clouded over here for so long, and happy that God has been so good to us!
I think Rocco was asking Elisabetta if she was SO excited to be at Target! Haha!
Guys, it feels so good to feel good again! Just so happy things are returning back to our routine again for all of us!
I hope you all had a great weekend! And, if you want to join in the MIMM fun, link up your blog post!
Did you celebrate Cinco De Mayo?
