This past weekend started off rough, but got better. Mike had that bad tooth ache as I shared in my post Friday. Well, he was scheduled to get a root canal Friday, BUT ended up getting food poisoning! He was SO sick, he had to go to the hospital, and was there all day Friday. I had to stay home, as I couldn’t bring kids there , and I felt so helpless. Luckily, it passed in 24 hours. At least the rough parts, his stomach is still not right. He is way better though!
Cheers to a new week, we have nothing planned this week. Anthony’s birthday is Wednesday, but we celebrated it Saturday! Can’t believe he will be 17!

Friday was just a calm night, as Mike got home from the hospital, and we all relaxed. Was just happy he was better, and we all had a quiet night.
We celebrated Donut Saturday, instead of Sunday this past weekend. Rocco didn’t seem to mind. He always loves his weekend donut!
Anthony’s girlfriend asked him to prom in the cutest way! She got him a tackle box for one of his birthday gifts, and had that little sign in there when he opened it! Of course he said yes 😉
The sign says “I reely like you , I’m so hooked, I want to o’fish’ally ask you…will you tackle prom with me?
They went to see Beauty and The Beast in the afternoon that day ( I was so jealous, ha! ) and later we had dinner and cake!
The cake was one of his favorites, cookie dough blizzard cake from DQ.
Rocco was SO into wanting that cake, lol. You can see that in the pics! He was so excited to help Anthony blow candles out, too!
He had a wonderful day, and I am beyond blessed to be their mom <3
Rocco also had fun with the balloons, Anthony’s girlfriend got him. He has been paying with them every day!
Sunday was GET READY for the week day! I started my new fitness program today, went grocery shopping Saturday night to have meals for the week, and am preparing for a kick ass week! I hope,ha!
I am giving myself grace, as I know I want to be consistent with my workouts, life is crazy over here! I am hoping to get my workout in daily, and to get my nutrition in check which has been slacking. I don’t always use the 21 day fix portion containers, but I am this time here and there for a guide. I want to make sure I am getting all my nutrition at each meal, and those will help me! I also have been overdoing it on portion sizes with nut butter and dressings. YES, you can overdo it on healthy eats. You do have to watch your portions!
