Thank YOU all from the bottom of my heart, Mike’s heart, and Rocco’s heart for all the sweet love and comments about Rocco’s diagnosis. I know he will thrive, progress, and we are doing all we can to help him.
I am not going to lie, it is very HARD to process this still. I just want my baby boy to be ok, and it’s hard some days when he is so frustrated and can’t communicate well.
I am exhausted and just trying to push through most days, but I know things will get better! Once Rocco starts more therapies, I know he is just going to really thrive!
I had a much needed girls night out Saturday, and honestly it took everything in me to go out for that. I just am going through a rough time with all of this, and its hard to want to do much.
Like I said, I will have good and bad days, but the bad days are tough. I am glad I pushed myself to go out, as it was good for my soul!
MIMM, sharing my girls night highlights!
I got a pick two combo of two items I never tried, and both were SO good!
Roasted turkey and caramelize kale panini/Power kale caesar salad with chicken.
Both items are a MUST try, and I am so re-creating that sandwich at home. Heck, the salad too!
After dinner, we met up with Mandy and Darla at Paint with a Twist to paint the night away! I was excited to plan this night with them, as they have never been here.
I brought a mini wine, as I didn’t want to drink too much!
We had a lot of fun, and I loved the tree we got to paint! We all rocked our paintings! At least I think so 🙂
( the cat drawing, looks like cat has boobs. LOL. Long story )
I am so grateful to have wonderful friends, and it is so important to get out! Especially when you work from home and have a bust toddler! Mama needs a break! I plan on girls nights once a week for sure, it is much needed. Mike enjoys his boxing nights out twice a week, so he get his “me time” that way!
The rest of the weekend was chill, as I still am just struggling a little.
I did manage to get out to get my horrid nails fixed yesterday though, while Rocco took a nap.
I went pink again, I can’t help it!
And, Rocco chilled with no pants on Sunday. He loves the “no pants” life. This kid, he is something 🙂
Oh, and Roxie was a little lazy bum this weekend. She knows mama is not feeling well, so she was snuggly!
I hope you all had a great weekend! Happy February 1st! WHOA! I can’t believe it, just damn realized that!
Well, I have to say, this month is going to be better for sure! January was rough, and I am looking forward to a fresh new month!
See you guys tomorrow!
BEST part of your weekend?
Have you tried either Panera eat that I got on Saturday?
