Happy Tuesday! I wanted this post to be live on Monday, but I had some blog issues. Technology hates me sometimes, not how I want to start this year! I am excited to share a post in the next week or so, about my plans for 2018!
Gosh, what a whirlwind 2017 was for us. So happy though we got through it all, and all the hard is a memory. I also realize I NEVER shared Elisabetta’s birth story. Two Reasons: I had a very scary labor, which was traumatic for me, my mom and husband. Other reason, just all with E was my main focus and worry, I didn’t even have the right mind to blog most days.
I hope to share that birth story soon, and if I don’t then you all know it had a happy ending obviously!
But I do have a WONDERFUL update on Rocco coming up this week, which makes my heart burst. So be on the lookout for that, as well as a fun sponsored post!
Now, about this past weekend…
We had a pretty chill weekend to start off with. Friday night we watched Wall-E in bed with little man. We let him in our bed every night now for a little, he loves that times with us! Life goes so fast, these little special things are what matters.
Elisabetta is getting her molars in, and it has been hellllllllllllll. She cute though!
I got my hair touched up on Saturday! Loveeeeeeeeee it darker for sure. BUT I am going to add some highlights next time, just to add some depth!
We had Mike’s work holiday party on Saturday. They always do it after the holidays, which I think is nice!
I love being your + one <3
I am so in love with this man. I am grateful to therapy, as it has helped me so much. I have some past stuff that has given me scars and has made me do certain things that hurts us. I will openly admit that, and there is no shame in that. I don’t really need to go into that, we all have hurtful things from the past, that we tend to never get over and it can effect us our whole lives. We both also have held things in, that were hurting us and needed to get out. I am so happy where we are right now, we are in an amazing place and I am so grateful. Sure we will always have those ups and downs, as all relationships do! But we are in this amazing place because we had a big break through that was needed. Don’t ever stop working on your relationship or stop working on yourself either!
We had so much fun at the party, was so good to see Mike’s co-workers I don’t get to see often!
I do love dressing up, too! I feel good when I wear real clothes. I got this romper at Target and loveee it.
Oh and this meal is on repeat, so simple and can’t stop eating salmon.
Salmon, riced cauliflower, broccoli and that teriyaki coconut amino!
Well friends, time to start this day! Rocco FINALLY goes back to school tomorrow. He was supposed to go back last week, but due to weather he didn’t have school. Happy we will be back into a routine!
And I feel like this every week, haha. Exhausted and ready to sleep by 3. Her teething just adds to the tiredness. Sleeping has been non-existent, all the coffee.
Do you have any BIG goals for 2018?
