Happy July 4th! God bless America!
I was hoping to sleep in a little since I did not have to be up to make Mike breakfast since he is off, but I still woke up way early! Never fails my friends!
Breakfast prepared the night before always helps when I wake up hungry and not motivated to put too much effort into breakfast.
Blueberry waffle in a cup with vanilla milkshake protein frosting and strawberries topped with coconut butter.
I like when the coconut butter hardens so I put it on the strawberries last night and refrigerated it all, so good! Like a magic shell coating 😀
My breakfast was red, white, and blue! Perfect for today and is also perfect for day 4 of the instagram healthy divas challenge I have going!
Last nights dinner I have to share since it was so good! I love this birdseye steam bag combo, one of the ones I buy weekly.
Garlic Cauliflower <3
It went perfect with my dinner salad that involved lots of garlic, I cooked up a hillshire farm garlic herb chicken breast and added it to a spinach salad base with the cauliflower, sliced almonds, and a garlic hummus dressing!
I made the garlic hummus dressing using garlic hummus+water+nooch!
It was delicious but my breath wasn’t the best, haha!
We watched more “Friday Night Lights” last night and passed out, nothing too crazy over here. We do have a party at my moms to go to today and then going to see the fireworks at my bff’s house!
I was going to go to the July 4th Canonsburg Parade that is a BIG deal around here, but the heat is not my friend. The parade I used to go to every year when I was younger, I even danced in it for dance school and was in it with my dad when he was Sheriff! Anthony and I used to go when he was little, now he is too cool to go, so that is not happening. One day I hope to go again and to be bringing a little baby, I will for bring my child if I have another one. The kids love the parade and I always loved taking Anthony, he loved it when he was little!
Who knows, maybe next year I will have a little one to bring, they will still be too little but would be fun!
Oh and Canonsburg peeps do not mess around, they put chairs out on the sidewalk to mark their spots for the parade and they do this 3 weeks before the parade! I had to explain to my husband why there were chairs everywhere when we drove through town, haha! He was laughing, told him it’s a tradition and people want the best spots!

This is actually my first July 4th home in 4 years, so I am excited! I will get to celebrate with my family and see the fireworks I used to love and watch as a kid.
Happy July 4th! Have a safe and fun one friends!
