Happy Friday, Happy Easter Weekend! I am very happy my husband is off today, as the extra time with him before surgery day Monday, is so nice. Tomorrow I turn the big 35! I am having a low key birthday, as the baby’s surgery Monday is having me in a very scary/stressed/worried mode. My best friend and I are going to Bonefish Grill for dinner and drinks, and I am going to go to Sephora and Target for some birthday shopping before!
Mike’s mom is flying in Saturday, so him and his mom will be home with the kids getting her settled in! I am grateful she is coming in to help us with Rocco , and I am excited to see her! You might wonder why Mike and I aren’t going out for a date night on my birthday! Well, really handling Rocco and the baby is hard, we don’t want to have his mom JUST come in and be thrown to the fire, ha! It would be different if she was here for a few days or coupe days prior, but they are a lot to handle, as Rocco still not adjusted to her well. Mike and I decided it was best for him to just be home with her and the kids, and for me to get out a little! Honestly, I wouldn’t really care to get out at all, but I know I need it mentally to keep my mind busy. I don’t want to sit home on my birthday and get into a dark place with the surgery on my mind. I am excited to get out and to have cake with everyone after!
Sharing some Diva Spill, short and sweet things from the week!
We have been taking advantage of the beautiful weather, got a family walk in a couple times this week. We took turns pushing the kids, too!
The new turkey bacon and egg white sandwich from Starbucks, it rocks! Definite must try!
The new nanny, she is the best. I am so grateful we found a great match for our family. She will be helping out two days a week, and she truly is so great with them! She send me pic updates, and this was one from the kids outside with her the other day!
THREE things I did this week!
Botox in my forehead, yes. I have been wanting to do it for a long time now, and decided to. It hurt a little, but excited about the changes I see! I will post before/after pics. I got for a touch up in two weeks!
Lash extensions are GONE! I have been crying so much, it was irritating my eyes more with the lashes , so I got them removed for now. I will get them back on next month.
Unicorn hair! I got the light pink highlights last month, but decided to do more fun this time! My best friend rocks, I love my hair!
Wine Wednesday went down this week, at the hair salon!
My husband came home from work, called me before he came in the house, and told me and the baby to come to the door. I open the door, and he is standing there with these beautiful flowers. Was the best surprise! He really is so great! We have been through so much, and have had some rough patches, but we are staying strong. Any couple who would go through what we have, would break a little or completely break apart. It has been hard, but we know how much we love each other, and we know that it’s work in a marriage. I am grateful soon we will have some calm, as we deserve it and have more time to work on us! He really is the best!
As you guys know, the big day is Monday. If you follow me on snapchat or instagram, I will update on there how Elisabetta is doing. ( @healthydiva on both )
Please send those prayers, as you all have been. This will be the hardest day of our lives to date, and we are just so emotional over here. We are grateful to have support at the hospital that day by family. My sons girlfriend, my parents, my best friend, and my sisters will be there. I am grateful, as it will be a long day. Her surgery will be 5-6 hours, unless they have issues and have to do open chest surgery, then it will be shorter.
I get sick even writing this, I just know how good God is and all will be ok.
Happy Easter to my friends who are celebrating this weekend and happy weekend!
